What our clients say
I have struggled with drug addiction and alcoholism since I was 16 years old. I am now 46. Six months ago I was charged with my 5th DWI and circumstances led me to call Mike. We met at his office for the first time. It did not go as I planned; in fact it went quite the opposite. He asked me why I don’t belong in jail, not the words you expect to hear from you lawyer. I told him my story, the story of an alcoholic, from an alcoholic’s point of view. At that time I did not realize it but Mike sure did, and he knew exactly what to do. He told me my story is pointless, full of excuses, self-righteousness, and was basically garbage. He told me I had zero creditability with him. Somehow when I left those words stayed with me. Zero creditability, that was the most credit anyone had given me in a long time. I used thoses words as a fresh start, and in time I was able to gain creditability with Mike. I listened to him and did exactly what he suggested. By doing this I was able to gain creditability with myself. I have been clean and sober 5 months and I’m happy in the life I’m creating. I’m so blessed to have met Mike. I not only consider him my Lawyer, I consider him my friend.
As you know better than most, just getting through the DUI labyrinth of systems, agencies, laws and regulations that present themselves in New York State is a daunting task. Given the cards that were dealt to you with my case, I consider the final outcome to be impressive. In the subsequent months, I have had the opportunity to talk to many people mandated to participate in Drug Counseling, DDP classes, Interlock Services, DMV and Victim Impact Programs who have had nightmarish experiences with their “ legal counsel”.
I feel lucky for the referral I received. You gave me an accurate picture of what to expect and when to expect it. I received this service for a reasonable all inclusive cost. I guess it pays to engage two professionals that have 50 combined years of DUI experience.
Oh, did I mention compassion, understanding and timely resolutions to my problems; keeping me sane.
If anyone I know is unfortunate to be in the same position I put myself in, I would not hesitate to recommend you.
